Menufiver Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language summary of how Menufiver handles data. It is not a final lawyer-reviewed legal document and will be updated as the product and applicable regulations develop.

What we collect

When you create a Menufiver account, we collect your email address and the details you provide about your restaurant (name, type, and menu content). If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe. Menufiver does not store card numbers or payment credentials.

When guests use your QR menu, their browser connects to our servers to load the menu. We do not require guests to create an account. When a guest places an order, we store the order items, table reference, and status to power the order flow. We do not collect guest names, emails, or payment information.

How we use data

To operate the Menufiver platform — menus, ordering, KDS, stock, analytics.
To process your subscription via Stripe.
To respond to support and contact enquiries.
To produce anonymised usage analytics that help us improve the product.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use guest order data to build advertising profiles.

Cookies and storage

Menufiver uses cookies and local browser storage for authentication sessions, language preference, and functional state (such as a guest's active table session during an order). We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

Data storage and security

Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the EU. We apply role-level security policies so that restaurant data is only accessible to the owner account and authorised staff. Guest order data is scoped to the active session and accessible only to the restaurant that generated the session.

Data retention and deletion

If you cancel your Menufiver subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your restaurant data including menus, orders, and operational records. Contact us at hello@menufiver.com to request deletion.

Third-party services

Menufiver uses the following third-party services in the operation of the platform:

Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
OpenAI — AI-powered menu photo extraction (menu plan import only).
